Pennsylvania ranks among the top states for colleges per capita, so it’s no surprise a major higher education marketing association took root here and hosts its annual conference in Lancaster.

Philadelphia-based enrollment marketing agency Paskill, which has supported about 25% of the state’s 300 colleges and universities, will return as a sponsor, contributing to industry conversations and some light-hearted competition.

Paskill will play a key role at the 2025 CUPRAP Spring Professional Development Conference, held March 12-14, where higher education marketing professionals will gather to discuss industry trends, innovation, and strategic communications.

The event will feature expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities on topics ranging from AI-driven content marketing to enrollment growth strategies.

kelly kautzLead UX Strategist Kelly Kautz, recognized for her research on the website preferences of first-generation college students, will lead a roundtable on website governance. According to Kautz, website governance is not an area where one policy fits all. “A website governance policy should be custom fit to your unique team, culture and bandwidth.”

Ryan PudloskiChief Technology Officer Ryan Pudloski, a previous CUPRAP presenter with Shippensburg University, will introduce keynote speaker Barry Kudrowitz, PhD, a professor and department head of product design at the University of Minnesota, who will present “Radical Innovation and the Power of Play in Challenging Times.”

Zac McGroartyPaskill believes in the power of play to both relax and connect, which is why the agency will host a Paskill Pong tournament, offering CUPRAP attendees the chance to win a trophy and a $100 gift card, while experiencing some college fun. Senior Digital Art Director Zac McGroarty, a CUPRAP board member, will referee the tournament and present the winner.

Evidence of how play can drive results, Paskill’s web team has launched 50 higher ed websites in the past five years. This includes Allegheny College’s recent overhaul, which has been nominated for a 2025 Cuppie, with the award to be announced at the conference.
